Responses to Tumblr Blog People's Animations:

Brooke – I enjoy the concept because it makes it feels like you are poking fun at yourself. We get to see this carefree side of you. I wish that the video had sound as it would make it more appealing and at times, I think the video is a little too fast (towards the end), so the viewer is unable to read the speech bubbles by your friends.
Lexi -  I think your video compasses your point very well. I also enjoy that you had used sound throughout the whole video which definitely made it more intriguing. My two criticisms are that you could make smoother transitions between frames and that frame times might be a bit too short in the beginning as they jump pretty fast from each one.
Mike - This video is very entertaining because of the lightheaded concept behind it. I think that in order to make your video stronger, you could have added actual sound dialogue between you and your friend. The end frame where you are drinking the beer could have also been opaque against the background, so that it doesn’t blend in as much.
Carly – Your concept does hit close to home but I think it is something that is important to acknowledge. At points, your technique could be a little more neat (talking about the sketchy lines in some panels) and a part of me wishes you had shown actual food on the plates instead of the static.
Lindsay - Your audio was great as it did make me want to turn off the video. Two criticisms: I wish we got to see more of this inner turmoil within shots of you and your frames could also be slowed down just a bit to make the transition clearer for the viewer.
Sam - Your concept is very interesting and makes me wonder, because of the speed of it, whether you feel like time slows down when on transit? I think incorporating sound could be very powerful as well as making the frames a tiny bit faster as it will feel like we are actually moving with the piece.
Melissa - I really enjoyed the concept of this. One part that I think could be improved is the part where your hair flies off of your head as the jump in frames makes the transition of the piece less smooth. I am also slightly confused on your technique. The facial features have changed dramatically (the nose and the eyes even) making me believe that they are completely different people all incorporated into one film. That may just be me, but overall good job!
